The story behind Kyle's Three CD's

"DOIN' THE MESS AROUND"

Kyle has made great progress in show business. He had reached the status where he could spend most of the year on cruise ships - generally starring in over 70 different shows.

He appeared with Des O'Connor for three cruises on the new Queen Mary 2. Kyle was delighted to be asked to appear on the QM2's maiden cruise to New York.

Recently Kyle has been starring on Cunard's new Queen Victoria - as you can see from this picture - the on-board theatre even has boxes!

Kyle has been starring on cruise ships since 2004 and these engagements, together with his theatrical work has taken him all over the World.

Often, on a cruise, he would be on board for a week to ten days during which time he starred in two or at the most three shows. Kyle loved meeting all the passengers and as you can see from the CD cover photograph - his last 4 years of travel has given him a a great suntan!

"Doin' The Mess Around" was recorded "live" in response to requests for a CD that featured all the songs from his shows.

This new "Doing The Mess Around" CD encapsulates his dynamic showmanship, singing and of course - his "Flying fingers".

"TO MEMPHIS 'N' BACK"

"To Memphis 'n' Back" was Kyle's second CD. It was recorded in the USA and in the UK. Kyle is backed by famous Memphis musicians including the great Joel Shumaker who played guitar for Jerry Lee Lewis for 15 years.  Kyle did the final mastering of the recordings at EMI's Abbey Road - the studios made famous by the Beatles.

The review (on Kyle's home page) which appeared in the Memphis newspaper says it all. Kyle was really pleased to get this glowing review from the Memphis paper and it recognises Kyle's 21st Century "take" on the original "Sun Sound" that made Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis, Roy Orbison, Charlie Rich and Johnny Cash so famous.

This was Kyle's first CD. He recorded it on his 16th birthday. Back then Jerry Lee Lewis's official biographer made the following prophecy - and of course he was proved right as Kyle's talent is now mesmerising audiences worldwide.
