Picture, taken at Jerry's home in 1965, for the "Return of Rock" LP was used again for the CD re-issue. The guy on the right, Alex Chilton, later became famous as a member of The BoxTops who had a hit with "The Letter". Bill Cunningham, the brother of BB Cunningham who now plays bass for Jerry was another member. Two years before the same piano ("Myra bought it for me with my own money") & the same curtains were featured on Jimmy Lee Swaggart's LP "I've got nothing to lose". |

Both photographs were taken at Jerry's former home at 5042 East Shore Drive, Memphis. In Jimmy's book "To Cross A River" he mentions the help from Jerry that enabled him to make this LP (Jim 104) at Sun. Scotty Moore engineered the session without charge. The cover not only has a picture taken in Jerry's lounge but states that "this album was made at Sun Studios in Memphis, Tennessee with Sun Saturated Sound". |
