JERRY LEE PICTURED WHEN HE RECORDED FOR MCA & WAS REPRESENTED BY "IN CONCERT INTERNATIONAL" OF NASHVILLE

The agency is long gone but was run by Scott Faragher who later wrote the book "Music City Babylon - The Inside World of Country Music". Mr Faragher represented artists like Waylon Jennings, George Jones, Ray Price etc. For 20 years he booked clients into club dates, tours, exhibitions, fairs & concerts. He says he juggled talent & temperament, & persuaded customers to pay top dollar while fending off sharklike completion.

He writes that he paid Jerry's manger $12,000 cash to handle him & then learned that Jerry was not a popular act for fair buyers. His former agent claims that Jerry often skips shows without notice, is an egomaniac, a drug abuser, a heavy drinker & that he considers himself to be above the law. But he does say that Jerry Lee is the ultimate rocker and puts on one hellva a show!
