Tom came to Jerry's shows at the Rainbow Lyceum Club in Bradford in 1966. He played Jerry a dub of "Green Green Grass of Home" and Jerry immediately predicted that it would be a hit for Tom. Two years later Tom was at the first night of "Catch My Soul" in Los Angeles. He had to rely on Kyle's Webmaster to get through to Jerry's dressing room ahead of a queue of personalities that included Zsa Zsa Gabor, Sal Mineo, Burt Bacharach, Andy Williams, Angie Dickinson etc. |
