Mickie Most was one of the support acts on this tour. He had just
come back from South Africa after getting seven number one hits
over there.
Mickie was a real fan and had promoted Gene in South Africa. He
got on well with Jerry and the tour manager - the late Henri Henroid.
Mickie later became Gene's brother-in-law when Gene married a singer
called Jackie Frisco.
